Written principally in the twentieth century, the 22 short stories in Album, 2/e, represent a broad spectrum of literature from Spain, Latin America, and the United States. The stories, chosen primarily for student interest, appear in order of increasing difficulty. Marginal side notes and glosses aid in the comprehension of each selection, and numerous post-reading activities expand vocabulary, increase reading power, improve oral and written expression, and promote cooperative peer-learning.
