BERRIDGE is Emeritus Professor of International Politics at the University of Leicester, UK, and a Senior Fellow of DiploFoundation, for which he oversees an online Masters course. He was the Associate Editor for twentieth century diplomatists on the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography project, and has written many books on diplomacy, the most recent of which is British Diplomacy in Turkey, 1583 to the present (2009).
