There are many wonderful transparent sheets of anatomical drawings that show the internal organs lined up with the body and brain of a baby, and the simple, concise text actually contains everything you need to know. There are many books about childhood stages of development, but this one is easily digested and lovely to look at -- a perfect give for a new mother when you want to skip the usual onesies.
