Students in the inclusive Nest Model score at or above their peers in statewide assessment with no paraprofessional support! The ASD Nest Program serves students with autism spectrum disorder and typically-developing students in a co-teaching, inclusive model and does not require paraprofessional participation. Adopted by the New York City Public Schools and the country of Denmark, this evidence-based approach shows how children with ASD can be successful in general education settings.
