About the Author Dr. Rex A. Wright is Professor of Psychology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He received his Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Kansas under the direction of Jack Brehm. He is the author of numerous chapters and articles, is a past Fulbright Scholar, and serves regularly as a consultant for professional journals concerned with social psychology, motivation, and psychophysiology.Dr. Jeff Greenberg is Professor of Psychology at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He received his Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Kansas under the direction of Jack Brehm. He is the author of numerous books, chapters, and articles, has served on the editorial board of multiple professional journals, and is currently an Associate Editor of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.Dr. Sharon S. Brehm is Professor of Psychology and Chancellor at Indiana University Bloomington. She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Duke University under the direction of Phillip Costanzo. She is the author of numerous books, chapters, and articles, a past Fulbright Scholar, and has served four three-year terms on the Executive Committee of the Society of Personality and Social Psychology.
