From the Inside Flap Mary Sparrowdancer, agnostic, wildlife rescuer, socialite, wife of a prominent lawyer, and mother of two small children, died on September 12, 1988, and came back. She had been suffering from many ills: bronchitis, strep, a slipped disc, impacted wisdom teeth, stomach flu, and a cancerous tumor on her nose. Then one day at four in the morning she was awakened by a Light Being, who took her on a journey into the Light, leaving her physical body behind. Over the next nine months he appeared to her frequently, asking questions, questioning answers, leaving small white stones as evidence of his visits. This Being took her within her self to the center of Awareness, where she heard the love song of the universe resonating through the strands of her own DNA. About the Author Mary's background includes studies in clinical laboratory medicine, bacteriology, microscopic analysis, electroencephalography, ornithology, anthropology, and study of ancient history and documents. She was a wildlife rehabilitator for many years, during which she provided free, humane care for over 20,000 injured and orphaned wild birds and wild animals ranging from bears, deer and otter, to bunnies and squirrels - from eagles, hawks and owls to hummingbirds, wonderfully raucous blue jays and one rather special but nondescript brown sparrow. She is from Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island and is of Narraganset (Native American), Irish, and Italian descent.
