About the Author Nancy Clemens is co-publisher of Blue Dolphin Publishing and an active advocate for dolphins worldwide. Nancy loves traveling and immersing herself in native cultures. She champions the rights of indigenous peoples to preserve their sacred sites and way of life. Most of her teachers have come from the Tibetan, Native American, mystic Sufi, and Christian traditions. Saint Francis of Assisi, her patron saint, carries threads of all these traditions, as well as demonstrating his love and communication with animals. Through his inspiration Nancy came to love animals ... cats and dogs, tigers, lions, wolves, horses, and perhaps most of all, the dolphins and whales.
