To ensure a smooth return process, a Return Authorization (RA) Number is required for all returns. Returns without a valid RA number will be rejected and may incur additional charges.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If the product you received is damaged, defective, or not as described, you can request a Return Authorization Number within 15 days of the original delivery date. The RA number will expire 7 days after issuance, so we encourage you to return the product promptly.

Changed Mind or Better Price

If you no longer need the product, changed your mind, or found a better price, you can request a Return Authorization Number within 7 days of the original delivery date. The RA number expires after 7 days, and a 25% restocking fee will apply. Returns without a valid RA number will be rejected and may incur additional charges.

Shipping Charges

  • Customer Responsibility: For returns due to personal reasons (e.g., changed mind, no longer needed, better price), the return shipping charges are your responsibility.

  • Reimbursed Shipping: We will cover the shipping costs for returns due to our errors (e.g., incorrect product delivered, product shipped in error).

When returning a product, please use a traceable carrier and provide us with delivery confirmation. Ensure the Return Authorization Number is referenced on the bill of lading.

Return Eligibility Criteria

All returned products will be thoroughly inspected. To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  1. The product must be in its original manufacturer’s packaging and securely shipped.

  2. The product must be free from damage, including dents, scratches, cracks, or signs of abuse.

  3. Products with security seals must be unopened, and the seal must be intact.

  4. Returns must meet the above criteria to avoid delays or denial of credit.

Return processing may take up to 15 business days from the date we receive the product.

Damaged Goods Policy

If your product is damaged or defective, follow these steps for a smooth resolution:

  1. Report within 36 hours of receiving the product. (Damage reports made after 7 days will not be covered.)

  2. Do not discard the damaged item or its packaging.

  3. Provide photographic proof of damage, including part numbers and descriptions.

  4. Return shipping costs for damaged items will be covered by us.

  5. The processing time for damage complaints may take up to 7 business days, depending on the carrier.

Buyer’s Remorse

If you regret your purchase, replacement requests may be denied, and you may be responsible for return shipping costs and the restocking fee.

Credit and Replacement

  • Credit is issued only after the product has been inspected.

  • If the product does not meet the return criteria, no credit will be issued.

  • Ergodebooks reserves the right to adjudicate all credit claims or replacement requests.
