Die Theorie einer Verschwrung der absolutistischen Hofpartei, an deren Spitze der Thronfolger und sptere Kaiser Wilhelm stand, konnte durch weitere Quellen verdichtet werden. Knig Friedrich Wilhelm IV., der an die Liebe seines Volkes glaubte, verlie die Stadt nicht, damit sie nicht von auen von den auf seinen militrisch denkenden Bruder Wilhelm eingeschworenen Truppen angegriffen werden konnte. Die erweiterte Neuauflage enthlt das Theaterstck "1848 Die Revolution hinter der Fassade" von Alexander Schrder. Die Ereignisse wurden knstlerisch, aber dennoch nah an der historischen Wahrheit verarbeitet. About the Author Dorothea Minkels wurde 1950 in Bitburg geboren. Nach dem Abitur 1968 studierte sie Chemie, Biologie und Pdagogik an den Universitten in Saarbrcken und Mainz. Sie ging nach dem Staatsexamen in den Schuldienst. Mit ihrem Mann und drei Kindern lebt sie seit 20 Jahren in Berlin.
