DARK SHADOWS MEMORIES is a colorful, picturepacked tribute to the legendary 1966 1971 Gothic ABCTV daytime series Dark Shadows, that starred Jonathan Frid as tormented vampire Barnabas Collins. Launched June 27, 1966 by series creator Dan Curtis as a Gothic romance evoking the gloomy, stormtossed milieu of the Bront sisters, and later evolving into a supernatural blend of vampires, witches, leviathans, time travel and parallel universes, Dark Shadows was radically unlike any daytime soap.

The memories in this Dark Shadows anniversary edition are lovely, but the packaging had a dent when it arrived. Not what I wanted for a collector’s item. The book itself is great, just wish it had arrived in perfect condition!

Good Read, But Somewhat Disappointing
As a long-time Dark Shadows fan, I was excited to get this anniversary edition. The memories are great, but I expected more exclusive content. It feels a bit short on depth compared to what I hoped for. Still enjoyable though!
