Product Description Prologue In 2003 Colorado was in their 4th year of drought. Nobody but John Astor saw it coming. The most devastating snowfall in a 24 hour period ever recorded for Colorado. His every effort to warn the proper authorities of the most certain onslaught is not recognized until it is too late. Thousands of fans are stranded at Air Force Falcon Stadium. The storm leaves motorists and citizens stranded for 50 miles between Denver and Colorado Springs. John Astor predicts the calamity far in advance of any US weather service warning, using the latest MIT forecasting program DIS Doppler Instant Simulator, on loan from the Meteorological division of Environmental Studies. Every 10 minutes becomes critical has thousands are stranded in the snow attempting to see Air Force and BYU slug it out for first place in the Mountain West Division. Despite warnings and threats from Paul Gantor, director of emergency services for El Paso County, Air Force Commanders and the US Weather Service ignore the possible onslough of snow. With no other options Paul takes control, canceling the nationally televised game, calling out the Army and a fleet of 100 semi trucks to rescue the 10,000 stranded fans. The President is awakened at 3 AM and every emergency resource is brought to bear. Even with the best efforts of all the powers there are casualties and injuries. Someone is going to pay for not seeing this event in advance and taking the proper actions to avert the damages. About the Author Obsessed with weather and an avid winter sportsman, James Sebastiani has experienced snow storms that topped the eaves of 2 story houses. His first book '5 Footer' was 5 years in the making. Based on real and plausible circumstances the dreaded 'Albuqueque Low' reaks havoc on this unsuspecting community.
