I enjoyed Volume 5, but it felt a bit slower than the others. Some parts dragged on, yet the artwork is still great. If you're committed to the series, it’s worth picking up, but may not be the best starting point.

Excellent artwork, but story pacing is odd
The illustrations in Volume 5 are phenomenal! I can’t get over how detailed the characters look. However, the pacing feels uneven and some chapters just seem to drag. Still, it's worth reading if you're invested.

Volume 5 of 'A Certain Magical Index' dives deeper into the storyline. I really love how the characters develop and the plot thickens. If you're a fan of the series, this is a must-read!
