I really enjoyed 'A Death in Summer' by Quirke. The plot twists kept me on my toes, and the character development was rich. I couldn't put it down!

Interesting Concept but Lacked Pacing
The book had an interesting premise, but the pacing felt off to me. There were moments I felt it dragged, which made finishing it a challenge. Still, I appreciated the effort.

Not My Favorite by Quirke
I had high expectations for this one, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me. Some parts felt like filler, and I wasn't as invested in the plot as I hoped. Still, Quirke has a way with words!

Perfect for Quiet Evenings
Just finished 'A Death in Summer' and couldn't have picked a better book for my cozy night in. The story is gripping, and I loved the rich detail. A great choice for mystery lovers!

Decent Read but Slow in Parts
While Quirke's writing is solid, I found some sections of this book dragged a bit. The story picks up nicely towards the end, though. Worth a read if you're into mysteries.
