A Glance Back is a history and photograph collection beginning in the 1860's of the far northwestern section of Mendocino County, CA, about 200 miles north of San Francisco. This book is part of the history that Margarite Cook, a local historian, collected for 60 years beginning in the late 1920's. Extensive research was done by Diane Hawk to complete this book. Anyone interested in the early history of the area should find this book a wealth of information.
