This much-needed handbook offers conflict resolution professionals working (or planning to work) in foreign countries a critical, step-by-step guide for dealing with difficult and potentially dangerous disputes in other nations. The editors, John Paul Lederach and Janice Moomaw Jenner, have gathered a stellar panel of seasoned experts who illustrate how to approach international peacebuilding with effective actions and approaches gained through experience that will contribute ultimately to a more positive outcome. Based on the experience of the contributors-- work as global peace brokers, the book includes a wide array of guidelines, pragmatic approaches, and models of constructive, culturally appropriate ways to respond to conflict.

I purchased this book thinking it would be in decent used condition. Unfortunately, it had quite a few markings and dog-eared pages. While the information is good, the physical state of the book made it hard to enjoy reading it.

Useful but arrived with creased pages
The book is fantastic and filled with important concepts about peacebuilding. However, it arrived with several creased pages, which was a bit disappointing. For a used copy, I expected it to be in better shape, but the content is what matters.

Great insights, but a bit worn
I bought this used copy of 'Into the Eye of the Storm' for my coursework on peacebuilding. The insights are invaluable, but the book does have some noticeable wear and tear. Still, it's a solid resource for anyone studying international relations.
