This book deals with the development and subsequent characterization of a novel Iron (Fe) based Bulk Metallic Glass. Seven Fe based compositions were developed in the FeWTiCrCLa system. In addition to this, three Lanthanum (La) and one Zirconium (Zr) based compositions were also studied for comparison. Furthermore, as part of the development phase of our work, a casting equipment was designed and engineered to cast and vitrify the samples for BMG formation.
