The performance of an organization largely depends on its leadership style. Sainsbury's, the third largest supermarket chains in the UK has its own leadership style too. Sainsbury's was once the market leader in the UK supermarket sector, but is currently ranked third behind Tesco and ASDA. It might be necessary for Sainsburys supermarket to improve performance to revive its position. To improve the performance and become market leader Sainsburys must use good management practice to influence more positive business performance. The proposed study has been conducted to find out the existing management style and employees preferred management style in J. Sainsburys Wrexham store and to give suggestion for better performances of the store. The primary research highlighted some specific areas that must be compared if the Sainsburys Wrexham store is to compete effectively in the Global market.
