This book has a lot of potential with its focus on spaces that impact queer women's culture, but some sections felt a little drawn out. I enjoyed the content, yet I wished it moved at a quicker pace. Still worth a read if you're interested in the topic.

Great concept, but not what I expected
I thought 'A Place of Our Own' would dive deeper into specific locations, but it was more about the stories surrounding them. While some parts were touching, it felt a bit scattered at times. I wanted more structure. Not what I hoped for, but some might enjoy it.
