This memoir has some amazing moments and insights into Bombay life, but I felt a few sections dragged on a bit. It's still a worthwhile read if you're interested in personal stories from different cultures. Just be prepared for some slower pacing here and there.

Not what I expected
I was a bit disappointed with 'A Room in Bombay.' The writing style didn't resonate with me, and some chapters felt disjointed. Just not my cup of tea. Maybe others will appreciate it more, but it missed the mark for me.
