Now for the first time an exciting approach that simplifies the techniques for getting better pictures. Using hundreds of photographs and line drawings, this book makes photography more interesting and understandable for the beginner and applies to the digital world of photography as well.

As an amateur photographer, I appreciate how this book breaks down the fundamentals of photography with a Pentax. The practical tips about settings and composition are really helpful. I’m enjoying going through it and applying what I learn to my shots!

Decent resource, not exhaustive
This guide is a good introduction, but I expected more detailed info. It covers the basics well, but there are some advanced techniques I wish it mentioned. Still, I'm finding it useful for understanding my Pentax better. Just don’t expect to master everything from this book!

Not quite what I hoped for
I was a bit disappointed with this book. The content felt a bit basic, and I was hoping for more advanced tips for my Pentax. It’s okay, but I thought it would cover more on lens selection and settings. Probably better for absolute beginners than for intermediate users like me.

Great for beginners!
I got this book as a gift for my son who's just starting to learn photography with his Pentax camera. The explanations are clear and the tips really helped him take better pictures. It's laid out well and easy to follow, making it a perfect starting point for anyone new to the field!
