If you’re new to image processing, this might be a good start. But for someone looking for depth, it falls a bit short. The C examples were straightforward but could use more detail. I also had an issue with shipping; it took longer than the estimated delivery time.

This book balances well between classical methods and modern approaches to image processing. Some code examples are a bit dated, but they work. Just wish it had more illustrations to accompany the text, though. Still a solid read.

Decent, but not what I expected
I was hoping for more modern techniques in this book. While it covers classical methods well, the modern sections felt sparse. The used condition was acceptable, but I found a few pages dog-eared. It's still useful, just not a favorite for me.
