This History Of The Early Turk Dynasty Contains Hindi Translations Of All Major Persian And Arabic Historical Texts From 1206 Ad To 1290 Ad. Minhaj SirajS Tabaqat-E-Nasiri And Jishyauddin BaraniS Tarikh-E-Firozshahi Are Considered Its Main Sources. The Second Part Contains Translations Of Works By Contemporary Historians. These Include Fakhr-E-MudabbirS Tarikh-E-Fakhruddin Mubarakshah, Adabul Harb Vash-E-ShujaAt, Sadr-E-NijashmiS Taj-E-MaAsir, Amir KhusroS Diwan-E-Vastul-Hayat, And Brief And Essential Excerpts From The Qaranu-Sadain. Translations Of The Works Of Two Later Prominent Historians Have Also Been Made: AsamiS Futuh-Us-Salatin And Ibn BattutaS Account Of His Travels, Written In Arabic. These Texts, Which Shed Authentic Light On Medieval Indian History, Have Been Translated Into English By Some Scholars, But The English Translations Of Technical Terms Remain Flawed. This Has Led To The Emergence Of Many Misleading Stereotypes. To Avoid Such Errors, The Present Text Retains The Technical Terms And Terms Denoting The Medieval Environment In Their Original Form, And Their Explanations Have Been Provided In Footnotes.
