Internetbesucher werden bei der Suchmaschinen recherche auf vermeintliche Gratisangebote der Abofallenbetreiber gelock (...) Auf die in Wahrheit existierende Kostenpflichtigkeit wird regelmig nur an versteckter Stelle hingewiesen (...) So ist wohl auch der ehemalige Hamburger Brgermeister Ole von Beust auf der Suche nach einem Kochrezept schon einmal in eine solche Falle geraten. (...) Fr die Betreiber ist das ein lohnendes Geschft, da viele Betroffene wohl aus Unsicherheit oder Unwissenheit die geforderten Betrge letztlich bezahlen. (...) Einige der Akteure haben es mittlerweile zu einer gewissen Berhmtheit gebracht. So werden die Brder Andreas und Manuel Schmidtlein als Pioniere der "Geschftsidee Abofalle" betrachtet. (...) Auch der sogenannte Frankfurter Kreisel hat einige Bekanntheit erlangt. Seit einigen Jahren werden dort von einigen wenigen Beteiligten zig solcher Websites betrieben. (...) Die Namen der Geschftsfhrer dieser Websites sind immer wieder dieselben: Die Brder Robert und Villiam Adamca, Michael Burat, Alexander Varin u.a. Die Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverband verffentlicht regelmig eine Liste mit Firmen und den von ihnen betriebenen Websites, gegen die schon Verfahren gefhrt wurden.5 Auch die Namen von Inkassoanwlten, die fr die Abofallenbetreiber zigtausendfach Mahnschreiben verschicken, sind immer wieder dieselben.
