Ursprunglich von Beruf Schauspielerin, studierte sie nach dem Tod ihres Mannes Soziologie, Psychologie und Padagogik. Sie arbeitet an der Universitat und in der Erwachsenenbildung. Ihre Erzahlungen "Dissonanz und Saitenspiel" erschienen 2001 im Allitera Verlag.
