Ce travail est une tude exploratoire sur la possibilit de production dun antiUV inorganique de 2e gnration. Deux produits inorganiques ont t synthtiss et tests. Face un matriau naturel, htrogne et dynamique tel que le bois, les rsultats dvaluation des performances de photostabilisation sont assez variables non seulement en fonction de lessence de bois et du type de rsine utiliss mais aussi suivant le type de vieillissement. Paralllement aux tests de vieillissement, leffet des diffrents antiUV sur les proprits physicochimiques et mcaniques des films de finition a t tudi en mettant en oeuvre des techniques danalyse telle que la spectroscopie UVvisible, TMA, RPE et des essais mcaniques. Il apparat que le pouvoir photoprotecteur joue un rle important dans les performances de photostabilisation. Dautre part, contrairement aux absorbeurs UV organiques,les inorganiques font augmenter la Tg facilitant ainsi lapparition des craquelures du film de finition.
