Er hat in Trier und Berlin Germanistik und Geschichte studiert und als Deutschlehrer gearbeitet. Seit er vor 25 Jahren erstmals den Raben in dem berhmten Stck Die Prinzessin und der Rabe gab, steht der ambitionierte Schauspieler ununterbrochen auf der Bhne. In der Grostadt Berlin, in der, nahezu unbeaufsichtigt von der Obrigkeit, das Lesebhnengewerbe die schillerndsten Auswchse feiert, verlor auch der gerade erst angetaute Norddeutsche zunehmend alle Hemmungen. Auftritte in der Nhe von vielen groen Stars der Kleinkunst waren die Folge. Frank Grutza lebt, liest und arbeitet in Berlin, hat manchmal Kinder und keinen Fernseher.
