In den vergangenen Jahren und Jahrzehnten hat diese Strung viel ffentliches (und Forschungs) Interesse erfahren. Im Zentrum dieses Interesses standen Fragen wie z.B. diejenige nach der Verursachung der Strung oder nach den Mglichkeiten der verschiedenen Therapieformen. Der Theorieteil der vorliegenden Arbeit stellt die bisherigen Ergebnisse der Forschung zu diesem Thema vor. Das besondere Augenmerk liegt dabei auf Faktoren des sozialen Umfelds. Welche Rolle spielt dieses Umfeld bei der Verursachung und Aufrechterhaltung der hyperkinetischen Strung? Dieser Frage soll in der vorliegenden Arbeit nachgegangen werden. Der empirische Teil der Studie untersucht ganz konkret den Zusammenhang zwischen elterlichem Erziehungsverhalten und Aufmerksamkeitsdefiziten bei Kindern. Die dabei verwendeten Begrifflichkeiten und Messinstrumente werden in den vorangehenden Kapiteln vorgestellt werden. Um den bergang vom theoretischen zum empirischen Teil zu erleichtern, ist ein Kapitel eingefgt, welches die bisherigen Erkenntnnisse zu ADHS und sozialem Umfeld nochmals zusammenfasst und ein Modell vorstellt, in dessen Rahmen die zu erwartenden empirischen Ergebnisse eingeordnet werden knnen. Da die zum gegenwrtigen Zeitpunkt vorliegenden Ergebnisse zu einer umfassenden Modellbildung nicht ausreichen, ist der vorgestellte Ansatz eher als Arbeitsmodell aufzufassen.
