Stubbs has published several other books, including Cuba: The Test of Time.Pedro Prez Sarduy is an AfroCuban poet and journalist. He was writerinresidence at Columbia University and a Rockefeller visiting scholar at the University of Florida (Gainesville) and the University of Puerto Rico. He has been the recipient of several literary awards and regularly undertakes speaking tours in the United States.
