The Prize Honors Artists Who Explore New Concepts Of Nature In Photography And Other Visual Media Through Their Work.Isadora Romero Uses Two Rainforests In Ecuador For Her Research Into The Cohabitation Of Humans And Forests In The Past, Present, And Future. Her Collaborations With Scientists And Local Communities Create A Nuanced Narrative About The ForestS Spiritual, Political, And Ecological Dimensions, Characterized By Indigenous Knowledge As Well As Old And New Technologies
