An dieser Stelle sei beispielhaft an die Tragdie in Erfurt erinnert, die sich vor sechs Jahren im April 2002 ereignete, sowie an die zwei jungen UBahnSchlger, welche im Dezember 2007 in Mnchen einen Rentner fast zu Tode prgelten. Nicht nur im auerschulischen Bereich, sondern auch in der Schule und im (Schul) Sport erleben viele Lehrer und Trainer in ihrem Alltag aggressive Verhaltensweisen von den Kindern und Jugendlichen. Ich mchte in dieser Arbeit der Frage nachgehen, ob der (Schul)Sport diesen aggressiven Verhaltensweisen von Kindern und Jugendlichen entgegenwirken kann. Der (Schul)Sport hat in der Gesellschaft vielerlei Funktionen. Sie reichen von der politischen (z. B. Vlkerverstndigung), ber die wirtschaftliche (z. B. Sportindustrie), hin zu der gesundheitlichen Funktion (Bewegungsmangelausgleich). Nicht zu vergessen sind die beiden Funktionen, die hinsichtlich ihres Inhaltes einen wnschenswerten Beitrag bezglich der aggressiven Verhaltensweisen bei Kindern und Jugendlichen leisten knnen. Gemeint sind die soziale Komponente, wie z. B. Teamfhigkeit, Kooperationsfhigkeit oder Leistungsbereitschaft, wie auch die pdagogischpsychologische Funktion des (Schul)Sports, u. a. die Steigerung des Selbstwertgefhls, das Erlernen des positiven Umgangs mit Erfolg und Misserfolg oder die Stressbewltigung. Der sportlichen Bettigung werden im Alltagswissen und auch in der Literatur eine Reihe von angestrebten Sozialisationseffekten zugeschrieben.
