ClockingIT es una excelente herramienta web para gestionar proyectos de tecnologa de forma tradicional y siguiendo las rgidas normas dictadas por el Project Management Institute. Sin embargo, con el auge de las metodologas giles y su inevitable adopcin por muchas empresas de la industria del software, herramientas como estas comienzan a caducar al no ofrecer sus virtudes a los enfoques giles. Con este trabajo se busc realizar dos cosas: redisear a ClockingIT para convertirla en una herramienta capaz de manejar proyectos de tecnologa usando enfoques giles, y aprovechar esta transformacin para incorporarle soporte en el rea de costos y estimaciones. La incorporacin de las estimaciones en este trabajo propone una idea innovadora para este tipo de herramientas, pues no se trata de introducir un valor y dejar un registro; se trata de la automatizacin y apoyo en los clculos de estimaciones mediante una combinacin entre tres de las tcnicas ms utilizadas en esta rea: juicio experto por analoga, estadsticas de la velocidad del equipo y juicio experto por analoga mediante el mtodo Delphi, este ltimo con la metfora del popular juego de Planning Poker.
