His work found a wider audience when one of his larger paintings was featured in the 1980 Brian de Palma film, Dressed to Kill.

I struggled to get through the first few chapters of 'The Metamorphosis of Experience.' The beginning felt a bit slow, and I almost put it down. However, it picked up later, and some ideas really resonated with me. Just a mixed experience overall.
