Featuring contributions by prominent acousticians, this book provides easytofollow calibration methods and stepbystep procedures for operating the various measuring instruments and acoustic devices discussed. It also includes a history of the development of condenser microphones, material never before published.

I found the AIP Handbook to be informative, but it sometimes feels too theoretical. While the calibration details are solid, I was hoping for more practical applications or case studies. It's good for reference but not a cover-to-cover read for me.

Not What I Expected
To be honest, I was disappointed with this handbook. The content was dry, and some sections were hard to follow. I wanted something more engaging for practical use. It’s not a total waste, but I thought it would be more user-friendly.

Great Resource for Sound Engineers
The AIP Handbook on condenser microphones is just what I needed for my audio projects. It covers theory and calibration in a way that's easy to digest. The measurements section is super helpful for both beginners and pros. Really glad I got this book!
