1m Sommersemester 1974 hat das Institut fUr Unternehmungsftihrung und Unternehmens forschung im Rahmen des Wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Forums ein Kolloquium zu be triebswirtschaftlichen, rechtlichen und steuerlichen Fragen multinationaler Unternehmen durchgeflihrt. Dieser sehr weit gesteckte Themenbereich ist im Rahmen der Veranstaltungs reihe durch mehrere Einzelvortriige und zahlreiche Diskussionsbeitriige aus sehr unter schiedlichen Perspektiven betrachtet worden. Die hier vorgelegten Aufsiitze gehen in der Mehrzahl auf die Vortriige der genannten Veranstaltungsreihe zuriick. Es ist das Ziel der VerOffentlichung, Konfliktfelder und Probleme aufzuzeigen, die speziell mit der Tiitigkeit international operierender Unternehmen auftreten. Herausgeber und Autoren sind sich dariiber im Kiaren, d zum gegenwiirtigen Zeitpunkt dieser komplexe Problemkreis nicht abschlieBend beurteilt werden kann, da zu zahlreichen Einzelfragen nur sehr wenig Informationen und empirisch abgesicherte Forschungsergebnisse vorliegen. Es ware erfreulich, wenn diese Veroffentlichung zur Versachlichung der aktuellen Diskus sion urn multinationale Unternehmen und zur Anregung weiterflihrender Untersuchungen auf diesem Gebiet beitragen wiirde.
