Product Description Das Problem der Umweltverschmutzung ist heutzutage aktueller denn je. Einer der Ziele der Bekmpfung der Umweltprobleme ist die Minderung der CO2Ausste. Ursprnglich basierend auf dem KyotoProtokoll aus dem Jahr 1997, wurde dafr in der EU die Einfhrung eines verpflichtenden Emissionshandelssystems beschlossen. Dies stellt die betroffenen Unternehmen vor neuen Herausforderungen nicht nur bei der Gestaltung deren Umweltpolitik, sondern auch auf dem Gebiet des Rechnungswesens. Im Jahr 2005 startete der Emissionshandel in Deutschland. Dementsprechend hat im Geschftsjahr 2005 zum ersten Mal das Problem der Bilanzierung von Emissionsrechten unmittelbare Auswirkungen auf die Bilanzierungspraktiken der Unternehmen gehabt. Bei nherer Betrachtung stellte sich dies als ein Problem dar, insbesondere bei der Bilanzierung nach der internationalen Rechnungslegung (IAS/IFRS). Der Versuch, die Bilanzierung von Emissionsrechten in der Interpretation des International Financial Reporting Interpretations Committee (IFRIC) zu regeln, ist letztendlich gescheitert. Seitdem wurden keine weiteren Regelungen zur Bilanzierung von Emissionsrechten nach IAS/IFRS verabschiedet, so dass die betroffenen Unternehmen unfreiwillig vor einer kreativen Aufgabe standen, eigene Bilanzierungsregeln fr diesen Fall zu entwickeln. Aufgrund der entstandenen Situation wird die Bilanzierung von Emissionsrechten im Schrifttum heftig diskutiert. Trotzdem findet man im Anbetracht der Wichtigkeit dieses Themas relativ wenig Informationen zur Bilanzierung von Emissionsrechten nach IAS/IFRS. Auerdem werden einige Aspekte gar nicht erwhnt, so dass manche Regelungslcken nicht mal mit Hilfe der Zusatzliteratur zu fllen sind. Das Ziel des vorliegenden Buches ist das Aufzeigen der in diesem Zusammenhang entstandenen Probleme und die Suche nach deren mglichen Lsungen. Dafr werden zuerst kurz die rechtlichen und konomischen Grundlagen des Emissionshandels und deren Umsetzung im Unternehmen, sowie die allge About the Author Natalija Berner, geboren in Riga (Lettland), hat in ihrem Heimatland Germanistik studiert und nach dem erfolgreichen Abschluss (Bachelor der deutschen Philologie) ein weiteres Studium an der Fachhochschule fr Wirtschaft in Berlin aufgenommen. Durch mehrere Praktika in greren und kleineren Unternehmen kam sie zur Entscheidung, als einen Schwerpunkt ihres Studiums Rechnungswesen und Controlling zu whlen. Insbesondere die Aktualitt und die unmittelbare Praxisnhe der zu erforschenden Probleme waren ausschlaggebend fr diese Wahl. Aus denselben Grnden wurde auch das Thema der Diplomarbeit ausgesucht: topaktuell, spannend, praxisrelevant und bis jetzt gesetzlich nicht lckenlos geregelt. Die Arbeit wurde mit "sehr gut" bewertet und rundete das insgesamt sehr erfolgreiche Wirtschaftsstudium von Natalija Berner ab.
