Seit 1996 Lehrbeauftragter am Institut fr Linguistik/Romanistik der Universitt Stuttgart. Seit 1989 in einer groen deutschen Verlagsgruppe ttig. Der Autor ist vom franzsischen Premierminister am 8. Februar 2012 mit den Palmes Acadmiques fr seine Verdienste um die franzsische Bildung und Kultur ausgezeichnet worden.
