We ordered several copies of the first edition of the 'Big Book' for our AA meetings. The content is timeless and so relevant. It’s great that everyone can have their own copy to read along. The print quality is pretty good too, not too small for our group of older folks!

Not what I expected
Honestly, I thought it would have more illustrations or updates like newer editions. The first edition has a different feel to it, and the writing style is a bit dated. Still, it’s an important part of AA history, even if it didn’t fully meet my expectations.

Classic AA resource, but check delivery
The first edition of the 'Big Book' is a classic, no doubt. It’s packed with helpful information and poignant stories. My only issue was that shipping took longer than expected, which was a bummer. I wanted to give it as a gift sooner!
