En los ltimos aos el avance de la microelectrnica y nanoelectrnica han ocupado un papel importante en el desarrollo de nuevas tecnologas.La miniaturizacin de muchos de estos elementos se debe a la posibilidad de poderlos preparar a bajas dimensiones, y de ah la necesidad de estudiar las nuevas propiedades fsicas que se obtienen cuando manejamos dimensiones nanomtricas. La investigacin de nuevos materiales con base en aleaciones bimetlicas, usando metales de transicin tiene impacto en diversos campos de la ciencia e ingeniera como por ejemplo: los dispositivos de alta integracin (ULSI), la industrial aeroespacial y la metalmecnica. En este libro se presenta una metodologa para la preparacin de aleaciones nanoestructuradas AuCu y AuAl para diferentes concentraciones atmicas. Estas aleaciones son caracterizadas morfolgicamente mediante diversas tcnicas como AFM, SEM, EDS y XRD. Se realiz tambien la caracterizacin elctrica usando la tcnica de cuatro puntas. Se encontr una relacin entre las propiedades elctricas y morfolgicas de las aleaciones analizadas.
