Great Starter Book for Adults
I picked up Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course: Sacred Book BK 1 to help my wife learn piano. The layout is really clear, and the songs are quite enjoyable. It’s been such a hit with her, I think it’s perfect for adults just starting out!

I bought this for myself as an adult beginner. While the songs are lovely, I found that the book didn't challenge me enough after a few lessons. Great for absolute beginners, though!

Perfect for Learning Sacred Music
As a church musician, I love that this book focuses on sacred music! The pieces are well arranged. However, some of the songs could use more detailed instructions. Still, it's a great resource for beginners.
