I bought Alfred's Basic Piano Library Note Speller for my son who's just starting out. It's really clear and easy for him to follow. The layout is nice and he actually enjoys practicing with it!

Decent, but a bit confusing at times
This book has some good exercises, but I find that some explanations are a bit unclear. My daughter is in the later beginner stage, and some of the notes are hard for her to grasp. Still a decent option overall!

Not what I expected
Unfortunately, this didn't work for my needs. The material seemed too basic for my older student who is already past the beginner stage. I thought it would offer more depth. Disappointed.
