This book is a decent collection of solos for intermediate snare drummers. I like some of the exercises, but I was hoping for a bit more variety. Still, it's helpful for honing skills and playing in contests, so it’s worth having.

I thought this book would be suitable for my beginner students, but it’s definitely aimed at intermediate players. The solos are complex and require a better grasp of snare techniques. Just not the right fit for what I needed.

The book itself is good for intermediate drummers, but I had an issue with shipping. It took longer than expected, and the box was a bit damaged on arrival. Fortunately, the book was fine inside!

Great Book for Intermediate Drummers
I've been using Alfred's Rudimental Contest Solos for my snare drum practice, and it's been so beneficial! The exercises are well-structured and really help with technique. The only downside was some of the pages were a bit crinkled when they arrived.
