Da aber die meisten Alkoholiker nicht alleine leben, sondern Familie haben, sind 4 bis 5 Millionen Angehrige unmittelbar vom Alkoholismus betroffen. Alkoholabhngigkeit tritt meist im mittleren Lebensalter auf, zu einer Zeit in der Kinder aufwachsen und erzogen werden, was auf das Ausma des Problems fr die beteiligten Kinder bzw. Jugendlichen hindeuten soll. Whrend in der Literatur hauptschlich auf die Auswirkungen alkoholaufflliger Familien auf die Entwicklung im Kindesalter eingegangen wird, fehlen fr den Bereich des Jugendalters jedoch zuverlssige Untersuchungen. Ziel meiner Arbeit ist es daher, verstrkt auf die betroffenen Jugendlichen einzugehen und von ihnen selbst zu erfahren, wie sie versucht haben mit der elterlichen Sucht umzugehen. Zunchst werden jedoch die fr mein Thema relevanten Ausgangspunkte und Problemstellungen besprochen bzw. Definitionen zur Hauptthematik festgelegt. In der familientherapeutischen Literatur zu Suchtproblemen wird heute weitgehend davon ausgegangen, da Abhngigkeit nicht nur ein individuelles Problem, sondern immer auch ein Familienproblem darstellt. Daher soll im Rahmen dieser Arbeit die Alkoholismusfamilie nach systemischen Gesichtspunkten betrachtet werden. Anschlieend werden die Auswirkungen des Alkoholmibrauchs besprochen, wobei zwischen den Auswirkungen auf die Familie als Ganzes und den Auswirkungen auf die Kinder unterschieden wird. Die in diesem Kapitel beschriebenen Folgen fr die Kinder knnen, wegen der fehlenden Unterscheidung in der vorhandenen Fachlite
