I was looking forward to diving into this book, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me. Some of the stories felt dragged out, and I was hoping for more practical tips on fly fishing. It’s okay, but I’ve read better fishing literature. Probably won't read it again.

Great Book, Minor Shipping Issue
I really enjoyed Gierach's witty writing in this book. It’s full of excellent fishing tales, but my copy arrived a bit late, which was a bummer. I had planned to read it on my last fishing trip. Nonetheless, I’d still buy it again!

I bought this book for my husband, but I ended up reading it too! Gierach's style is engaging, and even if you aren't a seasoned fisherman, you can appreciate the humor and life lessons. It's a delightful read that would make a great gift!
