Die AlternariaToxine Alternariol (AOH) und Alternariol9methylether (AME) werden hufig in Lebensmitteln nachgewiesen und gelten als genotoxisch und mutagen in vitro. Derzeit existieren keine gesetzlichen Regelungen fr Hchstmengen in Lebensmitteln, da die momentane Datenlage fr eine Risikobewertung nicht ausreicht. In dieser Arbeit wurden daher in vitroUntersuchungen zur Resorption, zum Metabolismus und zur Mutagenitt von AOH und AME durchgefhrt. Die Autorin konnte unter anderem zeigen, dass insbesondere AOH sehr gut resorbiert wird und der oxidative Metabolismus der beiden Toxine in vivoRelevanz besitzt. Die dabei entstehenden Metaboliten sind auf Grund ihrer Reaktivitt mglicherweise von toxikologischer Bedeutung. Untersuchungen hinsichtlich des mutagenen Potentials von AOH und AME ergaben trotz der strukturellen hnlichkeit der beiden Verbindungen signifikante Unterschiede. Insgesamt leistet diese Arbeit einen wesentlichen Beitrag zum besseren Verstndnis der Toxikokinetik und dynamik von AOH und AME und kann als Grundlage fr eine zuknftige Bewertung des gesundheitlichen Risikos dieser beiden Mykotoxine dienen.
