Diese Wohnformen mssen nicht nur den vernderten Wohnbedrfnissen lterer Menschen, sondern auch zuknftigen gesellschaftlichen und volkswirtschaftlichen Vernderungen entsprechen. Die vorliegende Thesis beschftigt sich mit eben diesen alternativen Wohnformen und mchte aufzeigen, welche Alternativen zu bestehenden Wohnformen fr ltere Menschen derzeit zur Verfgung stehen und in welcher Entscheidungssituation sie geeignet erscheinen. Zudem soll sie Aufschluss darber geben welche Probleme es bei der Umsetzung von alternativen Wohnformen gibt" und wie weit diese Wohnformen die vernderten Bedrfnisse und Wnsche lterer Menschen an ihr Wohnumfeld bercksichtigen. Neben dem betreuten Wohnen" oder gemeinschaftlichen Wohnen", welche in der ffentlichen Diskussion am hufigsten mit dem Begriff alternative Wohnformen" in Verbindung gebracht werden wird in dieser Arbeit ein Hauptaugenmerk auf das Wohnen im Quartier" liegen. Sowohl in der breiten ffentlichkeit als auch in der Fachwelt spielt diese aktuell hufigste Wohnform nur eine untergeordnete Rolle. Der berwiegende Teil der Senioren und Seniorinnen mchte ihren Lebensabend selbststndig und selbstbestimmt in ihrer vertrauten Umgebung verbringen.
