Definiert man hier Altruismus als selbstschdigendes Verhalten, wo durch ein Organismus seine Reproduktionschancen zugunsten eines anderen Organismus vermindert oder gar opfert, wie kann ein entsprechendes geneti sches Programm berhaupt durch die natrliche Selektion begnstigt worden sein? Das Altruismusparadox eignet sich hervorragend als Ausgan punkt fr die Frage, welche Zusammenhnge zwischen bestimmten erkemtnistheoretischen Po sitionen, der Fruchtbarkeit von Theorien und der Qualitt entsprechender Resultate der empirischen Forschung bestehen.
