I got this book for my son who is in elementary school. He enjoyed it, but I think it's aimed at a younger audience than I expected. Good for beginners in graphic novels, but I wished for a bit more complexity.

I enjoyed the premise of the book, but I felt like the characters could have been developed better. The art is beautiful, though! Perfect for younger readers, but I was hoping for a bit more substance. Still a decent read overall.

This graphic novel is such a charming story! I bought it for my niece, and she absolutely fell in love with Alya's character. The colors and designs are so vibrant, making it a fun experience for kids.

I bought 'Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian' for my daughter who loves graphic novels. The illustrations are gorgeous and the story really resonates with her. She finished it in a day and keeps talking about it!

I was excited to read 'Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian' but found some parts of the story confusing. The pacing felt off in spots, and it didn't really engage me. It’s okay, just not a favorite.
