Madanlal Dhingra Was Born On September 18, 1883, Into A Wealthy Hindu Family In The Punjab Province. His Father, Dittmalji, Was A Civil Surgeon And Deeply Ingrained In The English Culture; However, His Mother Was A Deeply Religious Woman Steeped In Indian Values. Their Family Was A Loyal Supporter Of The British. When Madanlal Was Expelled From A College In Lahore On Charges Of Involvement In The Indian Independence Movement, The Family Severed Ties With Him. Following His Elder BrotherS Advice, He Moved To England In 1906 To Pursue Higher Education, Enrolling In Mechanical Engineering At University College, London. In London, Dhingra Came Into Contact With Renowned Nationalists Vinayak Damodar Savarkar And Shyamji Krishna Verma. Madanlal Resided At India House. The Patriots There Were Outraged By The Execution Of Revolutionaries Like Khudiram Bose, Kanhai Lal Dutt, Satinder Pal, And Kashi Ram. On The Evening Of July 9, 1909, A Large Number Of Indians And British People Gathered To Attend The Annual Function Of The Indian National Association. As Sir William Hutt Curzon Wyllie Entered The Hall With His Wife, Madanlal Dhingra Fired Five Bullets Into His Face. After His Case Was Heard On July 23, 1909, He Was Hanged By The British Government On August 17, 1909. He Became Immortal Even In His Death.
