I picked up 'Anansi Boys' after loving American Gods, but this one felt a bit slower. The story was enjoyable, but I expected more action and depth based on the other book. Still, Gaiman's style is enchanting, so it wasn't a total miss for me.

Honestly, I struggled to get through 'Anansi Boys'. I found the plot to be less engaging than Gaiman's usual storytelling. I really wanted to like it, but it just didn't grip me like 'American Gods' did. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea.

A magical read from start to finish
Neil Gaiman's 'Anansi Boys' is a fantastic adventure filled with humor and heart. The characters are so vivid, especially Fat Charlie and his brother Spider. The blend of mythology and contemporary life really drew me in. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a good fantasy novel!
