En esta obra narramos su resistencia durante el Sitio a sus fuerzas militares en el estado de Quertaro, sus batallas, su derrota, su juicio y la conclusin: su fusilamiento. De igual manera se narra el destino cruel de su cadver: las tribulaciones del embalsamamiento. Tambin se presenta su poltica indigenista, su relacin con los hacendados e industriales, adems su ejercicio de orden a travs de levantar un juzgado militar.
